Building your Opportunities

The opportunities we seek are out there, however there's an art to finding them. Champions seem to have a way of engineering their own luck. We admire them for their excellence, however we often overlook the meticulous training that underpins their success. Their dedication to countless small exercises gets airbrushed out of popular consciousness.

Our business careers are equally dependent on the many small steps we take to create new opportunities. In his latest book, Outliers, Malcolm Gladwell devotes a chapter to this theme.

Our aim with 'Right Place, Right Time' is to provide a chart of the territory (our listing of business networking events) and some light to help you choose those that work for you (event descriptions | venue maps |'register' link | 'add to diary' feature).
